I-55 Southbound Lane Closures, South of Ruddock, LA, near Mile Markers 3.4 and 6.4 – St. John the Baptist Parish – Bridge Maintenance

There will be I-55 Southbound left lane closures scheduled as follows between Ruddock (Exit 7) and Laplace (Exit 1), near Mile Markers 3.4 and 6.4, while crews perform bridge maintenance operations, weather permitting:
LEFT LANE CLOSURES:
Wednesday (7/16/2025): 9AM – 5PM: I-55 Southbound Left Lane closure near Mile Marker 6.4
Thursday (7/17/2025): 9AM – 5PM: I-55 Southbound Left Lane Closure near Mile Marker 3.4
Permit Information:
Oversize loads are restricted to 12 feet in width. Emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
Detour Information:
The following routes may be used to avoid the lane closures: Motorist traveling I-55 South may take Ruddock Exit 7, then south to Laplace Exit 1 to re-intersect I-55, or Exit 209 to continue to I-10.
