Update (9/12/2025): LA 562 (H.015873) in Franklin Parish from the intersection of US425/LA15 in the town of Wisner to the intersection of River Road will have alternating lane closures during the day (No night work expected).
The previous LA 562 road closures are open to all vehicular traffic.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (days only, no night work expected).
Permit/Detour: No Detour necessary - lane closures only.

LA 562 Closure Information:
#1 - LA 562 is closed approximately 1 mile west of the intersection of George Carroll Road to the intersection of LA 562 and Ed Douglas Road.
#2 - LA 562 is closed from the western intersection of LA 562 and George Carroll Road to the eastern intersection of LA 562 and George Carroll Road.
LA 562 Detour:
#1 - George Carroll Road to LA 562.
#2 - US 425, LA 3148, Ed Douglas Road, LA 562.
(7/10/2025) LA 562 (H.015873) in Franklin Parish from the intersection of US425/LA15 in the town of Wisner to the intersection of River Road will have alternating lane closures during the day (No night work expected) beginning Thursday, July 17, 2025, until approximately Friday, October 17, 2025, for contractors to complete roadway base repair and asphalt overlay.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (days only, no night work expected).
