There will be intermittent and alternating lane closures on LA 628, between Willow St. and St. Charles Parish line, beginning on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 through Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 6AM to 6PM, weather permitting, while constructions crews install an asphalt mill and overlay. There will also be intermittent and alternating lane closures on LA 628, between Willow St. and St. Charles Parish line, beginning on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 through Friday, November 28, 2025, on school days, Monday through Friday from 4PM to 7AM and 9AM to 2PM, weather permitting, while constructions crews install an asphalt mill and overlay.
Permit Information:
Oversized loads are restricted to 12 feet in width.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the workzone:
Motorists traveling LA 628 east may take LA 44 north to US 61, then east to LA 628.
Motorists traveling LA 628 west may take US 61 west to LA 44, then south to LA 628.
