LANE CLOSURE: LA 170 bridge over Black Bayou, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Friday, July 18, 2025, the LA 170 bridge over Black Bayou near Gilliam in Caddo Parish will be reduced to one lane.
This lane closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is necessary for routine bridge inspection.
This bridge is located approximately 1.52 miles west of US 71. (see included map).
Restrictions/Permits: This lane closure will allow vehicles 14 feet wide or smaller to pass through the inspection zone. Larger vehicles must utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: I-49 to US 71
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
