LA 44 Westbound, St. James Parish -- Roadwork (Utility Work)

ATTENTION:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be partial right lane closures along
LA 44 westbound starting Monday, July 7, 2025 from 7:30AM to 4:00PM. This closure will be located between the intersections of Miles St to LA 641. One lane of travel will be maintained in all directions at all times.
These closures are necessary for utility work.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
