REOPENED: Emergency Temporary Closure: Senator Ted Hickey Bridge

Update: (5:10 p.m.) DOTD engineers have reopened the bridge to all vehicular and marine traffic.
Update (5 p.m.): Emergency inspections continue at this time on the Senator Ted Hickey Bridge. DOTD will update the public once the bridge reopens to traffic.
Emergency Temporary Closure Notification:
- Due to a vessel strike against the Sen. Ted Hickey Bridge this afternoon, DOTD bridge engineers are closing the bridge from approx. 4:30-5:30 p.m. on for an emergency inspection. Travel lanes will be reopened after the inspection, and more details will be made available.
