I-55 Northbound & Southbound Right Shoulders, Moving Operation, from Milepost 1 to 23, St. John and Tangipahoa Parishes

The I-55 Northbound and Southbound right/outside shoulders will have a moving operation from US 51 Overpass (Exit 23) to the Laplace Exit (Exit 1) beginning at 6am through 7pm, daily, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, and Sunday, June 29, 2025, weather permitting, for tree trimming operations. Both lanes will remain open to traffic in each direction.
Permit Information:
No restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the US 51 Service Rd. (Low Rd.) to avoid the work zone.
