Closure: LA 378 (Phillips Road) between Westwood Road and Davis Road in Westlake – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that LA 378 (Phillips Road) between Westwood Road and Davis Road will have a FULL closure from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday June 25, 2025, and Thursday, June 26, 2025.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform hazardous tree removal.
Detour route:
Motorists can use Davis Road to Hudson Drive to access LA 378.
(Note: The area highlighted in red is where the closure will be located. The area in blue is the detour route.)

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
