Update: Bayou Dularge Bascule Bridge/LA 315 (Terrebonne) returning to normal operations

Update: Wednesday, October 8, 2025: Beginning at 4:30 p.m. today, the Bayou Dularge Bascule Bridge/LA 315 will resume normal operations for both vehicular and marine traffic. All previous restrictions have been lifted.

Previous Release (Sept. 30, 2025):
Terrebonne Parish, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) informs the public about a temporary change in vehicle access hours for the Bayou Dularge Bascule Bridge/LA 315 in Terrebonne Parish.
Beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Wed., October 1, the Bayou Dularge Bascule Bridge will reopen to vehicles with the following temporary schedule:
*Overnight through 8:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. *There will be no vehicular restrictions over the weekend. DOTD estimates that all repairs on the bridge will be completed by the end of the day on Friday, October 10, allowing the bridge to resume regular operation.
