LANE CLOSURE: US 71 (Market St) bridge over Cross Bayou, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the US 71 (Market St.) southbound bridge over Cross Bayou in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be reduced to one lane.
This lane closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow for routine bridge inspection.
This bridge is located approximately 0.5 miles north of its intersection with US 80 (Texas St). (see included map)
Restrictions/Permits: Vehicles 14 feet wide or smaller will be able to pass through the bridge inspection zone. All wider vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
