The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that East Frontage Road between Phillips Way to the OYO Hotel will have a full road closure Friday night, June 20th, 2025, from 7:00pm to 4:00am. This closure is necessary for the work required to demolish the portion of the existing Northbound LA-1 Bridge over East Frontage Road. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution throughout construction and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
