About: DOTD is nearing completion of a $5.7 million project to reconstruct sidewalks, install pedestrian signals, and repave US 90 (Broad Street) between Tulane Avenue and Lafitte Street. A public meeting will be held to discuss proposed striping changes that would convert Broad St into a four-lane, median-divided roadway with bike lanes. The inclusion of this bike lane in the six-block segment between Tulane Avenue and Bienville Street would connect the existing bike paths on both ends and provide a safer route from the Uptown neighborhood to Mid-City and Gentilly.

DOTD personnel will be present at the meeting to address residents' questions and concerns.
