BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 9 over Corney Lake, Claiborne Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the LA 9 bridge over Corney Lake in Claiborne Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to take place from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, and is necessary to allow bridge crews to perform survey work.
Emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass through the work zone.
This bridge is located approximately 3.8 miles north of the intersection with LA 2. (see included map)
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. Motorists will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
