UPDATE 5/27/25: BOTH REST AREAS NOW OPEN.

UPDATE: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, the Tremont Rest Areas located on I-20 Eastbound (mile marker 95) and I-20 Westbound near Choudrant (mile marker 97) in Lincoln Parish is closed.
This closure is necessary due to a water main being damaged by the recent storms.
The rest area will be closed until further notice, and DOTD will issue an update when additional information becomes available.
