LA 657 Larose Bridge Closure for gear coupling inspections. Bridge will be closed to Marine Traffic Daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM to preform inspections. During these times, the bridge will remain open to vehicular traffic as possible. If necessary repairs are discovered, the bridge will be opened for a period of 24 hours to allow marine traffic to pass (closed to vehicles), then the coupling repair/replacement will occur under an up to 3 day marine closure. During this marine closure, there will be periods where the bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic. After the repair has been completed, the bridge will operate as normal for a 48 hour period before the inspections and potential repairs resume. As additional repairs are discovered, the time frame for the inspections will be extended as needed beyond June 10th.
