The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, weather permitting, Bridge# 083500530303351 on LA 1 over Cane River will be reduced to one lane for routine bridge inspection. The bridge is located near Chopin, LA, 0.8 miles North of South Intersection LA 490.
Permit/Detour section
No detour will be needed as one lane will be open at all times.
