LA 73 (Jefferson Hwy) - SB Lane Closure - East Baton Rouge Parish

ATTENTION
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Friday, May 16, through Monday, June 30, 2025, the eastbound outside lanes of LA 73 (Jefferson Hwy) will be closed from Pine Park Dr. to Floynell Dr.
The new configuration will allow crews to move equipment in and out of the work zone more safely and with less interruption to traffic.
. Eastbound traffic will be shifted to the center turn lane at Fleet Drive.
· The outside lane will remain open for Westbound traffic.
· What was previously the inside lane for westbound traffic will be a center turn lane.
· Access from Bluebonnet Rd. onto Jefferson Hwy will be closed.
· Access to Bluebonnet Blvd from Bluebonnet Rd. will remain open at all times.
This closure is required to remove and replace roadway pavement, concrete drives, walks and drainage structures.
This closure is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
