LA 73/Old Jefferson Highway – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorist of a westbound single lane closure on LA 73/Old Jefferson Highway.

On Monday, May 19, 2025, a westbound single lane closure will take place on LA 73/Old Jefferson Highway between Industrial Drive and William Thompson Lane from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

This single lane closure is necessary to assist Entergy with access for their trucks to reach utility lines and poles for repair or replacement.

No detour routes are necessary however, permit loads over 12’ wide should call the permit office for alternate routes.
