HWY 44/South Burnside Avenue (ASCENSION PARISH) LANE CLOSURES – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of north and south bound intermittent lane closures on HWY 44.

Saturday, May 24, 2025 through Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 7:00 am to 7:00 PM daily, north and south bound intermittent lane closures will take place on HWY 44 from I-10 Entry & Exit Ramps to Dowdy Drive.

The purpose of this intermittent lane closure, both north and south bound, is to stop traffic as needed during the rebuilding and reconducting of existing utility system to the new utility system.
