Reminder: DOTD to hold public meeting concerning new flashing yellow arrow signals in St. John Parish

Reminder: DOTD will hold a public meeting Wednesday from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Regala Gym in Reserve for any St. John residents interested in learning about the upcoming flahsing yellow arrow signal project.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will hold a public meeting regarding the upgrade of designated traffic signals throughout St. John the Baptist Parish to include flashing yellow arrow signals.
The meeting will take place in an open house format, allowing attendees to come and go during the designated time frame, ask questions, and receive information about the new signals and their locations.
The flashing yellow arrows will replace a solid green bulb to indicate that motorists should yield to oncoming traffic during a left turn. Flashing yellow arrow signals have been shown to enhance safety and decrease traffic delays.
