The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a project for adding/updating rumble strips and striping in district 05, with in the following parishes: Lincoln, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland and Union.

The $1,859,565.50 project was awarded to Highway Graphics LLC, work is to begin April 22, 2025. Work includes several locations of pavement striping and rumble strip additions. Work is estimated to take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Lincoln Parish Limits include Route US 167 from the Jackson-Lincoln Parish Line to South of its Junction with Roy Rd
Lincoln and Union Parish Limits include Route US 63 from North of its junction with Paradise Pointe Ln to the Union-Claiborne Parish Line.
Morehouse Parish Limits include Route US 165 from its Junction with Mayhaw Brake Rd to its junction with Henry Ave, Route US 425 from North of its Junction with Gabe Rd to North of its junction with Tim's Trail
Ouachita Parish Limits include Route US 165 from the Caldwell-Ouachita Parish Line to its interchange with Jackson St/Route US 165 BUS, Route US 165 from its intersection with Pearl St to its Junction with Route LA 134, and Route LA 34 from its intersection with King Lake Rd and Winds Ln to its junction with Route LA 617
Richland Parish Limits include Route US 425 from its junction with Route US 15 to North of its junction with Route LA 135

The entire project is anticipated to wrap up mid Fall 2025, with progress dependent on weather conditions and other factors that can impact construction timelines.

Construction activity will be performed using a slow moving operation in one travel lane at a time, which may cause drivers to encounter delays.
