Plaquemine/Sunshine Ferry to be closed Tuesday, April 15, 2025, for USCG annual inspection – Iberville Parish

Plaquemine, LA – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the Plaquemine/Sunshine Ferry will be out of service the morning of Tuesday, April 15, 2025, to allow for annual inspection by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Ferry service will resume once the inspection is complete.
