UPDATE: The work has been rescheduled for the following days:
Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced nightly lane closures will be in effect along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound at US 165 from Mile Marker 43 to Mile Marker 46 on the following days.
- Tuesday, April, 22, 2025: Double RIGHT lane closure on I-10 EB from MM 43 to MM 46.
- Wednesday, April 23, 2025: Double LEFT lane closure on I-10 EB from MM 43 to MM 46.
All closures will be in effect between the hours of 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly.
The closure is necessary for crews to prepare for and implement the I-10 Eastbound traffic swap as part of State Project H.002980, I-10 overpass over US 165.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
