Duty Ferry, LA 559 in Catahoula Parish *Update: Temporary Operating Hours Adjustment*

Update (5/5/2025): Duty Ferry on LA 559 in Enterprise (Catahoula Parish) will be revert back to the previous temporary operating hours of 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, until further notice.
(4/10/2025) Duty Ferry on LA 559 in Enterprise (Catahoula Parish) will have a temporary adjustment to operating hours due to the current water stage of the Ouachita River beginning Friday, April 11, 2025, of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. until further notice.
Temporary Operating Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
DOTD considers the safety of the ferry riders, as well as the boat captains, to be a top priority, and these operating hours will be monitored and adjusted again as necessary.
Detour: LA 124 East to LA 8 East to US 425 North to LA 128 West to LA 4 West to LA 559.
