I-49 Southbound Exit Ramp at Exit 1A - I-10 East (Baton Rouge), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closures

I-49 Southbound Exit Ramp at Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge) will be closed on the following nights:
- Thursday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, April 11 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
- Friday, April 11 at 8:00 p.m. until Sunday, April 13 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to perform pavement patching in the southbound outside lane and the I-49 exit ramp underneath I-10.
Motorists traveling on I-49 Southbound will only be able to access I-10 Eastbound via the posted detour route, which includes continuing South on NW Evangeline Thruway, turning East on Willow Street, then traveling East on Willow Street, then turning North on NE Evangeline Thruway, then take Exit 1A to access I-10 East (Baton Rouge).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
Detour route will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
