UPDATE: LA 830-3 in Morehouse Parish, Lane Closures; SP H.015321

UPDATE: LA 830-3 has been reopened to all through traffic as of 12:00 PM on Monday, April 28, 2025. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 830-3 will experience various lane closures until Friday, August 29, 2025. The lane closures are required to perform asphalt milling and asphalt paving. This work will be weather permitting.
UPDATE: The LA 830-3 road closure described below has been rescheduled for Monday, April 21, 2025 through Monday, May 5, 2025, weather permitting.
LA 830-3 (Cherry Ridge Road) will be closed to all through traffic beginning Tuesday, April 15, 2025 through Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The road closure will be located between the intersection of LA 830-3 and US 425 and the intersection of LA 830-3 and LA 830-6 (McCreight Street). The closure is required to remove and replace two cross drains located to the west of the LA 830-3 and LA 830-6 intersection. The closure is expected to take 14 calendar days, weather permitting.
Permit/Detour Section Restrictions: There are no restrictions to traffic at this time. Detour: Formal detour routes are not required at this time. LA 830-3 will be open to all traffic.
Safety Reminder: LA DOTD and Diamond B Construction appreciate your patience and remind you to drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
