ROAD CLOSURE: LA 818 / LINCOLN PARISH

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Tuesday, April 8, 2025, there will be a road closure on LA 818 at the Barnet Springs Creek bridge approx. 0.3 miles south of the intersection of LA 818 and US 80 in Lincoln Parish.
This closure is necessary to replace the bridge at that location and is part of a project that will replace two bridges along LA 818 in Lincoln Parish.
The entire project (replacement of both bridges) is anticipated to be complete in Fall 2026, weather and other factors permitting.
Detour: A detour route will be signed and provided for the duration of the closure. All vehicles must detour using US 80, US 167, LA 3061, and LA 818.
Restrictions/Permits: The roadway will be closed to all traffic.
