Lane closure on I-210 EB and closure of I-210 WB over Prien Lake – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the following lane and directional roadway closures on I-210 Eastbound and Westbound over the Prien Lake Bridge.
Wednesday, April 9, 2025:
- I-210 EB right lane over Prien Lake from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sunday, April 13, 2025:
- I-210 WB full closure over Prien Lake from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
As a reminder, the left lane of I-210 WB over Prien Lake is closed because of the ongoing Hurricane Laura lighting repair project.
Detour information:
On Sunday, motorists heading westbound on I-210 will be redirected at the I-210 Cove Lane interchange, to I-10 Westbound.
The closure is necessary for routine bridge inspection.
