Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the right lane on US 171 Northbound and Southbound will be closed on the following days.
Monday, April 7, 2025:
- US 171 NB right lane over English Bayou from 8 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
- US 171 NB right lane over Calcasieu River from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Tuesday, April 8, 2025:
- US 171 SB right lane over Calcasieu River from 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
- US 171 SB right lane over English Bayou from 12:00 p.m.-3 p.m.
The closure is necessary for routine bridge inspection.
