***UPDATE***Lane closures scheduled for I-210 Hurricane Laura lighting repair project – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: The I-210 EB alternating, intermittent lane closures have been extended through May 22, 2025.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the following closures as part of State Project H.015598 – Interstate 210 Hurricane Laura lighting repairs.
I-210 EB between Mile Marker 1 and Exit 3: alternating, intermittent left and right lane closures:
- Monday, April 28, 2025, through Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily.
These closures are necessary for crews to install ground mount light pole footings.
A continuous left lane closure along I-210 WB from Exit 3 to Mile Marker 1, starting just east of Cove Lane remains in place. The Cove Lane exit will remain open while this work is being completed.
An 11-foot width restriction will be in place during the project.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
