NOW OPEN: DOTD announces upcoming road closures on La. 352 in Henderson for new drainage installation

UPDATE #4: The work for Site 2 is complete. La. 352 at this location is now OPEN to traffic.
UPDATE #3: The work for Site 1 is now complete. The work for Site 2 will now take place beginning Monday, April 14, 2025 at 6 a.m. until Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 6 a.m.

HENDERSON, La. - Today, DOTD announced upcoming road closures on La. 352 in Henderson to allow crews to install new drainage structures across La. 352.
The closures will take place on the following days.
Location 1:
La. 352 (Henderson Hwy.), just east of its intersection with Cotton Gin Road, will be closed beginning on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 6 a.m. until Saturday, April 12, at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Location 2:
La. 352 (Henderson Hwy.), 0.05 miles east of its intersection with Leblanc Road, will be closed beginning on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 6 a.m. until Tuesday, April 15, at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
A detour route will be posted and includes:
- Westbound Traffic: La. 349 (Nina Hwy) to La. 347 (Grand Point Hwy).
- Eastbound Traffic: La. 347 (Grand Point Hwy) to La. 349 (Nina Hwy).
Emergency vehicles will not have access through the area.
