Acadia Parish - La. 98 Bridge over Bayou Plaquemine Brule - Lane Closure

ACADIA PARISH, La. - The La. 98 Bridge over Bayou Plaquemine Brule,will be reduced to one lane on Thursday, April 3, and Friday, April 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to remove excessive debris from the waterway and perform other minor repairs.
The road will be open to one way traffic with flagging operations in place. There will also be a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
