ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning March 31, 2025 construction will begin on a $493,516.25 project to replace pavement markings on I-49 from the St. Landry/Lafayette Parish line to its interchange with U.S. 190.

The project will include removing and replacing pavement markings and related work.

Emergency vehicles will have access to this area but may encounter delays.

The project is estimated for completion in June 2025.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
