EXTENDED: LA 106 (St. Landry Hwy) - Evangeline Parish - Road Closure

UPDATE #1: Due to additional roadway work needed and recent weather impacts, this closure has been extended until Friday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m., weather permitting. Thank you for your patience.
EVANGELINE PARISH, La. - Effective immediately, La. 106 (St. Landry Hwy.), between CC Camp Rd. and La. 115 will be closed until Monday, March 24, at 7 p.m.
This closure is necessary due to recent roadway deficiencies that have developed during construction.
A detour route will not be posted, but traffic may utilize U.S. 167 and I-49 to access this portion of La. 106.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
