I-10 Widening Project lane closure update

Next week crews will be setting up concrete barriers in several locations. This work will require periodic nighttime closers throughout the project limits

Sunday, April 5 to Tuesday, April 7, I-10 westbound will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Bluebonnet Boulevard to the I-10 / I-12 split from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. each night. 

Sunday, April 5 to Monday, April 6, the I-10 westbound off-ramp to Essen Lane will be closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Monday, April 6 to Tuesday, April 7, the I-10 westbound on-ramp from Essen Lane will be closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Tuesday, April 7 to Wednesday, April 8, the I-10 westbound on-ramp to I-12 eastbound will be closed from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.

The speed limit throughout the project is 50 mph. Motorists should use caution while traveling through this area. This closure is subject to cancellation because of inclement weather.
