US 190 (Vine Street) Eastbound, St. Landry Parish, Lane Closure

UPDATE #2: The left lane remains closed for the work below. Beginning Thursday, March 20, at 7 a.m., crews will close the right lane of U.S. 190 eastbound (W. Vine Street), between Colorado Avenue and Arkansas Avenue, until further notice. Concurrently, crews will open the left lane in the same area to traffic.
UPDATE: The below closure is now taking place effective immediately. This route will be closed until further notice.
The inside lane of US 190 Eastbound (W. Vine Street), between Colorado Avenue and Arkansas Avenue, 0.19 miles west of LA 357, in the City of Opelousas, will be closed beginning Monday, March 24 at 6:00 a.m. until Tuesday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. , weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to fix a water leak.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 14-foot lane restriction on oversize loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
