LA 98 Bridge over Bayou Plaquemine Brule, Acadia Parish, Bridge Closure for Debris Removal

The LA 98 Bridge over Bayou Plaquemine Brule will be closed from Wednesday, March 19 through Friday, March 21, daily, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to remove excessive debris from the waterway.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
The detour for the road closure will consist of the following:
• LA 98 Northbound Traffic will use LA 1111 to I-10 West, Exit 82 to LA 13 to LA 98
• LA 98 Southbound Traffic will use LA 13 to I-10 East, Exit 82 to LA 1111 to LA 98
