New Traffic Pattern: LA 431 near LA 42 – Ascension Parish

Construction is underway for State Projects H.012057. This State Project is to replace two existing drainage bridges on LA 431, 500’ south of LA 42 in Ascension Parish.
LA 431 will be shifted onto a temporary detour road between approximately 200’ and 1000’ south of LA 42. This shift is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Motorist should proceed through this detour with caution. The purpose of this shift if to begin the removal and replacement of the existing drainage bridges along LA 431.
