US 51 Northbound Flagging Operation near Thomas Rd. (north of Kentwood, LA) – Tangipahoa Parish – Entergy Utility Work

There will be a US 51 Northbound flagging operation near Thomas Rd. (north of Kentwood) from 7am to 4pm, daily, beginning on Monday, March 10, 2025, through Thursday, March 13, 2025, weather permitting, while Entergy’s crews work on power pole repair and replacement.
Permit Information:
No restrictions for oversized loads. Emergency vehicles will have access.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following route to avoid the lane closure: Motorists traveling US 51 north may take LA 38 east to LA 1054, then west to re-intersect US 51. Motorists traveling US 51 south may take LA 1054 east to LA 38, then west to re-intersect US 51.
