EXTENDED: Iberia Parish - La. 87 (Old Jeanerette Road) - Road Closure

UPDATE: Due to weather conditions, this closure has been extended until Friday, April 4, 2025.
IBERIA PARISH, La. - DOTD announces that beginning Thursday, March 13, at 7 a.m. until Monday, March 24, at 5 p.m, La. 87 (Old Jeanerette Road) will be closed approximately 0.10 miles south of La. 3182 (Bayside Street), weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for crews to install new drainage structures underneath the roadway.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
A detour route is La. 3182 (Bayside Street) southwest to La. 182 (Main Street), then southward to La. 671 (Lewis Street). Detour signs will be posted along the route.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
