BRIDGE CLOSURE: US 71 (Market St.) southbound bridge over RR, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Monday, March 10, 2025, the left side of the US 71 (Market Street) southbound couplet bridges over the ICG Railroad in downtown Shreveport will be closed.
This bridge is located approximately 0.22 miles south of the intersection with US 80 (Texas Street). (see attached map).
This closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow DOTD crews to perform repairs to the structure.
The right side southbound bridge will remain open to traffic, so no detour will be necessary.
Restrictions/Permits: Bridge closure. No detour necessary.
Alternate Route: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
