EXTENDED: I-10 Eastbound at Exit 82 - LA 1111 (East Crowley), Acadia Parish, Ramp Closures

UPDATE #3: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING NIGHTS.
  • Thursday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, March 21 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
  • Sunday, March 23 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, March 24 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

UPDATE #2: This closure has been extended to include the following nights.
  • Tuesday, March 18, at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, March 19, at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
  • Wednesday, March 19, at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, March 20, at 6:00 a.m. weather permitting.

  • Monday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, March 18 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

I-10 Eastbound Entrance and Exit Ramp at Exit 82 – LA 1111 (East Crowley) will be closed on the following nights.

• Wednesday, March 12 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, March 13 at 6:00 a.m. weather permitting.

• Thursday, March 13 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, March 14 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

• Sunday, March 16 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, March 17 at 6:00 a.m. weather permitting.

These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform milling and paving operations for the I-10 entrance and exit ramps along with guardrail removal, milling, paving and installation operations for the I-10 outside shoulder and ramps.

Motorist traveling on I-10 EB will only be able to access LA 1111 via the posted detour route, which includes exiting I-10 at Exit 80 - LA 13 (Crowley, Eunice), turn south on LA 13, turn east on LA 1111 (Odd Fellows Rd) and then turn north on LA 1111 (Tower RD)

Motorist traveling on LA 1111 will only be able to access I-10 EB via the posted detour route, with includes taking I-10 WB to Exit 80 – LA 13 (Crowley Eunice), turn south on LA 13, then take I-10 Eastbound.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the entrance and exit ramp at Exit 82 - LA 1111 (East Crowley).

Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
