US 61: Airport Rd to St. James Parish Line - St. John the Baptist Parish -- Roadwork (Road Construction) H.014111

There will be a moving operation on US 61, northbound and southbound lanes between Airport Rd. and St. James Parish Line, beginning on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 11am through Friday, March 7, 2025, at 7pm, weather permitting, while crews install temporary roadway striping.
Permit Information:
There are no restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following route to avoid the lane closures: Motorists traveling US 61 north may take LA 3188 north to I-10, then west to LA 641 (Exit 194), then south to re-intersect US 61. Motorists traveling south may take LA 641 north to I-10, then east to LA 3188 (Exit 206), then south to re-intersect US 61.
