The $8.09 million project will consist of installing new lighting near and on the I-210 Prien Lake Bridge, along with electrical repairs and upgrades.

Single nightly lane closures on I-210 Eastbound will begin Monday, March 10, 2025, until Friday, March 14, 2025. Single nightly lane closures on I-210 Westbound will begin Wednesday, March 12, through Friday, March 14, 2025. The closures are necessary to allow for re-striping of travel lanes to shift traffic during construction.

A full NIGHTLY closure of I-210 WB over the Prien Lake Bridge will start on Friday, March 14, 2025, until Thursday, March 20, 2025. The closures will be in effect nightly from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. The closures are necessary for crews to install a concrete barrier.

Closure schedule: (All closures listed are from Mile Marker 1 to Exit 3)
  • I-210 EB: Alternating left and right lane closures from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. March 10 through March 14.
  • I-210 WB: Alternating left and right lane closures from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. March 12 through March 14.
  • I-210 WB: Full nightly closure 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. March 14 through March 20. The westbound left lane will be closed all other hours of day and night, starting March 14.

Once these preliminary closures are complete, motorists can expect a continuous left lane closure along I-210 WB from Exit 3 to Mile Marker 1, starting just east of Cove Lane. The Cove Lane exit will remain open while this work is being completed.

An 11-foot width restriction will be in place during the project.
