UPDATE - EMERGENCY CLOSURE: Acadia Parish - La. 91 (Estherwood Pontoon Bridge)

UPDATE 3/12/2025: DOTD advises motorists that the LA 91 (Estherwood Pontoon Bridge) in Acadia Parish is closed to the traveling public, effectively immediately, due to a crash.
We will release additional information when it comes available. Please utilize an alternate route at this time.

UPDATE #2: DOTD announces that the Estherwood Pontoon Bridge is now OPEN to the traveling public.
UPDATE: DOTD announces that beginning Thursday, February 27 until Friday, February 28, DOTD crews will work to make necessary repairs on the Estherwood Pontoon Bridge.
While repairs are being made, the bridge will remain closed to motorists.
DOTD will update the public once repairs have been made and the pontoon bridge is re-opened to the traveling public.
Acadia Parish, La. - DOTD announces that effective immediately La. 91 at the Estherwood Pontoon Bridge is closed to traffic.
This closure is due to a single vehicle crash.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route.
