EXTENDED: I-10 WB Entrance & Exit Ramps at Exit 92 – LA 95 (Mire, Duson), Acadia Parish, Ramp Closures

UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN EXTENDED DUE TO WEATHER DELAYS. SEE UPDATES BELOW IN BOLD.
I-10 Westbound Entrance and Exit Ramps at Exit 92 – LA 95 (Mire, Duson) will be closed on the following nights.
- Monday, February 24 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, February 25 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
- Tuesday, February 25 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, February 26 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
- Wednesday, February 26 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, February 27 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform guardrail milling, paving and installation operations for the I-10 outside shoulder and ramps.
Motorist traveling on I-10 WB will only be able to access Exit 92 - LA 95 (Mire, Duson) via the posted detour route, which includes continuing westbound on I-10 to Exit 87 - LA 35 (Church Point, Rayne), turn south on LA 35, then take I-10 Eastbound to Exit 92 - LA 95 (Mire, Duson).
Motorist traveling on LA 95 will only be able to access I-10 WB via the posted detour route, which includes taking I-10 EB to
Exit 97 - LA 93 (Cankton, Scott), turn north on LA 93, then take I-10 Westbound.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the entrance and exit ramp at Exit 92 - LA 95 (Mire, Duson).
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
