US 61: Airport Rd to St. James Parish Line - St. John the Baptist Parish -- Roadwork (Road Construction) H.014111

There will be turn lane closures along US 61 near Terre Haute Rd. and Marathon Ave. beginning on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 through Friday, February 21, 2025, 9am to 3pm daily, weather permitting, while crews install a concrete raised median.
There will also be intermittent left lane closures on US 61, northbound and southbound, beginning at 6am on Saturday, February 22, 2025 through 8pm on Sunday, February 23, 2025, weather permitting, while crews install concrete curbing and raised median.
Permit Information:
There are no restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following route to avoid the lane closures: Motorists traveling US 61 north may take LA 3188 north to I-10, then west to LA 641 (Exit 194), then south to re-intersect US 61. Motorists traveling south may take LA 641 north to I-10, then east to LA 3188 (Exit 206), then south to re-intersect US 61.
