The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the eastbound and westbound right lanes of the Huey P. Long Bridge ("Old Mississippi River Bridge") on US 190 will be closed Monday thru Saturday from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM from February 24, 2025 to March 24, 2025 for bridge inspections.
No oversize loads over 11' wide will be permitted.
This closure is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
