The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a project to install prepare to stop beacons on US 165 & LA 139. The $1.1 million project began work on November 18, 2024.
The construction is located in the vicinity of various intersections along Route US 165. From its intersection with Route LA 15 to its intersection with Route LA 2. There is also work to be done in the vicinity of the intersection of Route LA 139 and Route LA 594.
The project includes traffic signalization and related work.
The project is anticipated to be completed in Summer of 2025, with progress dependent on weather conditions and other factors that may impact construction timelines.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
