H.015438 – LA 928 – Ascension Parish

Construction is underway for State Projects H.015438. This State Project is to patch, mill, overlay, and install drainage structures on LA 928 (Bluff Rd) between LA 74 and LA 427 (Perkins Rd) in Ascension Parish.
LA 928 (Bluff Rd) will have nightly alternating lane closures between the intersections of LA 74 and LA 427. These closures are scheduled to begin Sunday night, August 10th thru Thursday night September 12th, 2025. Weeknight closures will take place between 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM Sunday nights thru Thursday nights. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Motorists should expect delays when traveling through the work zone.
These closure are necessary for milling and overlaying asphalt pavement.
LA 928 (Bluff Road) may also have daily single lane closures beginning Monday, August 11th thru Friday, August 22nd, 2025 between C. Braud Rd and Alligator Bayou Rd. Lane closures will occur between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Motorists should expect delays when traveling through the work zone.
These closure are necessary for installing headwalls on the drainage structure at Jim Bayou.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
